Breakfast Granola

2 cups regular rolled oats

1 cup coarsely chopped sliced almonds

½ cup shredded coconut

½ cup shelled sunflower seeds

¼ cups toasted wheat germ

¼ cup flax seeds

½ cup honey

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup of dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, or dates)

Grease a 15x10x1 inch baking pan; set aside. In a large bowl combine oats, almonds, coconut, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and flax seeds. In a separate bowl mix honey and oil; stir into oat mixture. Spread evenly on baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring after 20 minutes. Stir in dried fruit and place on large piece of foil to cool. Store in airtight container for 1 week or in freezer for 3 months.
