Chinese Baby Back Ribs

1 (7.75oz) jar Hoisin sauce

½ cup chili sauce

¼ cup dry sherry

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1 tablespoon peeled fresh ginger root, minced

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon salt

1 slab pork baby back ribs cut into pieces

In a medium size bowl mix hoisin sauce, chili sauce, sherry, onion, ginger, sugar and ½ teaspoon garlic powder. Remove and reserve 1/3 cup of mixture. Pour the rest of mixture into a Ziploc bag, place ribs in mixture and coat well. Put into refrigerator for 2 hours. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake ribs uncovered for about 1 hour or until tender. Serve with the reserved sauce
