Three Meat Spaghetti Sauce

Rich and Hearty, This sauce has only 120 calories per serving. Freeze leftovers for a quick weeknight dinner.

1 pound extra lean ground beef

1 pound Italian sausage links–skinned

1 cup diced pepperoni

1 cup chopped onion

1 can (28 oz) crushed italian tomatoes

3 cups water

2 cans (6 oz) tomato paste

2 (4 oz) jars sliced mushrooms, drained

2-TBSP grated parmesan cheese

3-TBSP Italian seasoning

1- TBSP Splenda Sweetner

3-tsp garlic salt

1-tsp black pepper

Hot cooked pasta

In a large Dutch oven, cook beef, sausage, and onion over medium heat; drain. Stir in tomatoes, water, tomato paste, mushrooms, pepperoni, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 45 minutes. serve with pasta.

Yield  10 cups

3/4 cup sauce 120 calories. 8 g fat, ( 3 saturated) 23 mg cholesterol, 467 mg sodium, 6 g carbs, 1 g fiber, 1 g fiber, 8 g protein.
